National High-Performance Computing Infrastructure

To support research and innovation for researchers in Government/Education and Enterprise sectors

ThaiSC provides High-Performance Computing (HPC) services for computational science research, including AI (such as LLM training), big data, and simulation. The service supports complex and data-intensive workloads across a wide range of disciplines through Compute, GPU, and high-memory resources that can be selected according to workload requirements, together with parallel processing capabilities that help accelerate computation and reduce processing time.

Provided through a compute credit model (Compute Credits or Service Node-Hour: SHr)

Job Execution & Credit Deduction

Streamlined and Automated Daily Research Processing Workflow

ðŸ“ĨJob Submission – ⚙ïļCredit Deduction (Automated deduction of SHr based on actual processing time—"Pay-as-you-go" model) – 📊Result Verification (Review and download of processed results)

Credit Top-Up and Deduction Guide

(1) Account Top-up: Add funds to the system. ➡ïļ(2) Credit Conversion: The system converts funds into SHr credits. ➡ïļ(3) Job Execution: Submit and run actual computing jobs. ➡ïļ(4) Balance Inquiry: Check the remaining credit balance in the system.

The system deducts SHr credits based on actual processing time (Pay per use)

Privilege! that you will receive from LANTA

  • Data storage space (Project Home) 5 TB
  • Data storage space (User Home) 100 GB

"This service is not a standard, general-purpose service of ThaiSC."

Due to limitations in system resources and operational policy, ThaiSC does not offer this service to meet general demand. Approval will be considered on a Case-by-Case Basis and is subject to an evaluation of suitability based on the following criteria:
  • Project Objective: The project must be of significance or align with the mission of the requesting organization/agency. Policies and Conditions: The request must comply with the specific requirements and conditions applicable to that particular service.
  • Resource Availability: This will be considered based on the volume of Computing Resources available at that given time.
Remark: Applicants who require this service are requested to submit project details in advance to indicate their intent, in order to enter the institute's formal review process. The decision of ThaiSC shall be considered final.

Provision of Training Services

  • Training Support Services (Training/Workshops with HPC)

Details: Using the system for training purposes involves a greater number of users, as well as more troubleshooting for new/first-time users, compared to standard usage. Therefore, requests to use the system for training purposes require an additional Technical Training Support Fee for HPC, categorized according to the size of the training group as follows:
  • [S] Small Group: 5–20 persons, Price: āļŋ20,000
  • [M] Medium Group: 21–50 persons, Price: āļŋ30,000
  • [L] Large Group: 51–100 persons, Price: āļŋ50,000
Conditions: Requests to use the HPC system for training purposes are subject to an additional technical support fee, calculated according to the number of participants within each specified group.

Please Note: This service fee does not include the cost of advanced computing resources (Service Hours/SHr) required for the project.

Important Remark: Prior to accessing the system, the Principal Investigator (PI) and Team Members (TM) are required to sign the Consent Form (Terms of Service) before using the HPC system, in order to acknowledge and agree to comply with the terms and conditions of use.
